I recently purchased a music cd and this song on it meant a lot to me. I think we all face broken dreams from time to time, if not all the time. Life doesn't always go as we may wish it to, or God for some unseen reason decides that that dream of ours isn't the best thing for us. I think many times God wants us to simply lay down our will, die to that dream and find Him to fully satisfy our longings. Is it always that easy? No, at least not for me, but what a comfort to know that He is the Keeper of my soul, He waits with open arms and in Him I can let my stuggles cease.
May God bless your day,
Jen
Take your broken dreams upon His holy mountain,
Lay them in His hands and let Him give you peace;
Your help comes from the Lord, He never slumbers, never sleeps.
Trust in Him, the keeper of your soul.
Chorus:
Lift your eyes unto the hills,
The Keeper waits with open arms.
He's calling you to go where the
Living waters flow.
Lift your eyes unto the hills.
He's standing there at heaven's gate,
He's calling you, the Keeper of your soul.
Take your broken heart upon His holy mountain,
Lay it in His hands and let your struggles cease.
Like the potter molds the clay, He can mend and make you whole.
Trust in Him, the Keeper of your soul.
Chorus.
Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Highest Ambition
The highest ambition asks that your life be given for the good of mankind, that you be of all the sevice possible and in the best possble manner. If this ambition is linked with a life wholly given to God, then all your life will indeed be worthwhile. - K. A.
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who...made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant...

Fill All My Vision
Fill all my vision, Saviour, I pray,
Let me see only Jesus today;
Though thro' the valley Thou leadest me,
Thy fadeless glory encompasseth me.
Fill all my vision, every desire
Keep for Thy glory; my soul inspire
With Thy perfection, Thy holy love
Flooding my pathway with light from above.
Fill all my vision, let nought of sin
Shadow the brightness shining within.
Let me see only Thy blessed face,
Feasting my soul on Thy infinite grace.
Fill all my vision, Saviour divine,
Til with Thy glory my spirit shall shine.
Fill all my vision, that all may see
Thou holy Image reflected in me.

Fill all my vision...may that be the cry of my heart.
